The Drive-By Truckers have a new album out and it's awesome (as usual). Going to see them again in April (hopefully more than once). The songs on this album are all pretty serious with not much (if any) of the Drive-By Trucker humor to be found. Don't let the serious tone scare you away, it's another good one from the Truckers.
Surprisingly, never knew that Jason Isbell used to be in this band.
Maybe the greatest song of all. God bless the Priest.

I just found out that Steppenwolf was actually a Canadian-American rock band - did not know that
Jason had some great songs for the Truckers. Check out Decoration Day. That's my favorite. When I saw Jason last year, he played it.
Jason had some demons (alcohol) then and he also married the bass player. When they got divorced it really put a strain on the band and that's when he left. The Truckers and Jason get along well now.
The only Judas Priest songs I can think of off the top of my head are You've Got Another Thing Comin' and United
Not much. I remember some of their songs when I hear them, but their sound kinda makes my teeth hurt.
Yep, those were the only radio songs Priest had in the States. They are legendary in the UK, their first few albums are some of the best metal ever recorded.
