I’d tread lightly with the Sunny if I were you. She could turn on a dime and become one Bad Mamma Jamma.Hey Dio, come on, we all know that Sundrop is too busy jamming to Judas Priests "Sad Wings of Destiny"!

I think "the best" is in the ear of the listener.KK Downing and Glenn Tipton? Come on, Sunny, that's the best duel guitar attack in all of metal!
Now I'm gonna be hearing Carl Carlton in my head all day. Thanks, DiO.......I’d tread lightly with the Sunny if I were you. She could turn on a dime and become one Bad Mamma Jamma.
Weirdly enough I like opera, but music is like taste, we have things we like and we don't.I think "the best" is in the ear of the listener.
The BF says that I have a very odd and narrow window of music that I like, and he may be right. I am usually able to find at least one song I like from almost every genre.......although, I don't like opera, and yodeling is kinda difficult.
I beg to differ...I think "the best" is in the ear of the listener.

In the UK Rock and Metal are marginally more popular in than in the US, radio isn't quite as susceptible to playing the hits. But make no mistake, over here, it's still very uncommon, it's near enough impossible for acts like that to get mainstream attention. Bands who do the same business in the US usually do about the same in the UK. But as for new music, I would say that the UK is better in embracing it than in the US. I got into this music through my Dad, who took me to a Black Sabbath show on the 13 tour when I was 12. Ozzy actually came up to where we were and got us headbanging. But I wasn't actually into music all that much until your daughters age actually, when I discovered bands like Judas Priest, UFO etc. Plus, most music nowadays sucks!Let me ask you, Edward John.......You're young enough to be my child (My daughter is 18), so how did you come to love the music of my age and before?
Is it still popular in the UK, or were your parents an influence?

That's way cool, though. There is a famous opera composer in the SwiftDog bloodline. Madame Butterfly or Tosca ring any bells? I'm not a fan of it myself.

Been checking this band out lately. Plus you gotta love that guest vocal from Neil Fallon of Clutch \w/
