getting caught up here still. The son is on Spring break. So him,my sister and I are going to Pizza hut Buffet for lunch. Doing some laundry and then just relaxing.
Sounds like a nice day - I hope you had some peace and joy - I love a pizza buffet!

Just attended the scholastic awards ceremony. I received a silver key for a short story I wrote.
Congratulations! That is awesome! What was the title of your story?

Today I worked my fanny off - had a pi$$ing contest with a volunteer - got 2 new tires for my son's hoopdie truck - my Ogre got me a lobstrosity for our fish tank - he came via FedEx today - tiny little guy. He seems to be dead. We put him in the tank around 6pm and he still hasn't moved - but he's not floating, so there's hope! I hope he makes it. I'll name him Roland if he does, Wimpy if he doesn't. I loved reading about Roland and the lobstrosities. Surround my lil lobster with greenlights. And my grandpiggie too - Lola-baby is better. Antibiotic seems to be working. May she be healed. I need my piggiebabies. So does my youngest daughter.

Thank you too. I titled it “The 30 Year Warp”, not about time machines, but about an unnamed character’s nostalgic account on his childhood. Closest thing I can compare it to is The Body, which is what I admittedly was inspired by in terms of the basic childhood reflection plotpoint. I’d say it’s a little cheesy in its sentimentals, but I’d also say it’s much better than stuff I’ve written in past.

Yay! You're a track mom now!! Enjoy!! Our first meet is next week!
She brought home the order form for pictures yesterday, they are doing that Friday. I said, I'm going to order me and Dad buttons so we can wear them at your meets....she was mortified at that idea!!
I said, that's what sports parents do!!

She was not on board with that so much.

Put this in the wrong thread:

DiO'Bolic , you're my go-to guy here.

In the winter, I tip all my pots and cement containers on their sides and cover them. One of the numbnutzes who lived in my house at the time thought my bird bath fell over and stood it back up. By the time I went out there and discovered this, water got in it and froze, expanded, and the bowl was amputated from its base.

Is there a way for me to "glue" the pieces back together? I know it probably won't hold water anymore, but I would like it intact. It's pretty and my mom gave it to me.
