They celebrated their 46th anniversary in January.
I can see Stephen King sitting in a chair to the young man's left. King is in a light blue shirt.
Where did he rap her? On the head? I went to my friends house when I was 14 and his mother was really Catholic and on every wall was like a Cross with Jesus on it and he said I had to go home because he had to start praying with his mother.
Feeling a little taken advantage of by the folks who currently cut the grass.
I get it cut every two weeks. They're due to cut it this Friday, but are here today....so now, they'll bill me for three cuttings in May, and still cut twice in June. I know it seems petty, but that extra money is hard to come by.
They've been cutting the grass for a couple of years, and I still have to remind them to do all the trim work.....sometimes, they still don't do it all. I mean, the property lines haven't changed.....
It's like they don't care about a job well done, just about getting paid. Maybe I should start deducting $20 every time they leave the trim work incomplete.......Maybe I need new grass cutters.
......or maybe I just need to be happy with what I have. I don't like conflict, and I don't usually complain.....but dang, it just doesn't seem right to me.
(((((Pegasus216)))))Still trying to get through a day without crying. I haven't made it yet.
Do you have neighbors or co workers who use a different lawn service and are satisfied with it? You could consider another company-- provided cost is not more expensive. If cost is higher but within your budget it might be worth it to get it done as you request without the hassle of constant reminders of undone work. Mayhap when it comes time to pay the bill--- you might enclose a note stating the "early" cutting of May 31 was actually the cutting for June 2. ( if you are billed for it in May, then for June I'd explain that there are only two cutting - 16th and 23rd). Budgets are tight and they need to realize quality and scheduling are important to you and to keep a successful business.Feeling a little taken advantage of by the folks who currently cut the grass.

Kinda off topic but I saw Cher on the Billboard Music Awards recently - she is 71 years old. My first thought was "She's older than Stephen King!"Interesting. I didn't know Joe was in his forties. I am the same age as Owen, btw. I can't believe Stephen will be 70 in September.
and he totally could NOT pull of that black, dental floss outfit she wore.Kinda off topic but I saw Cher on the Billboard Music Awards recently - she is 71 years old. My first thought was "She's older than Stephen King!"

...time to find another buncha grass smashers....life and money are both to short for that BS....there are plenty of companies that will do the job properly and maybe even for less greenbacks....kick em to the curb and find another cutter....Feeling a little taken advantage of by the folks who currently cut the grass.
