Taking it easy today.
Only 2 more full days of school before summer "break" (thankfully, kiddo will go back to school part time for most of July).
Men are still working to restore our kitchen (more than halfway done, but at least we should have a sink by this afternoon).
Hopefully, we will be having a home cooked meal tonight. I am so sick of take out.

Fingers crossed work will be done. If not, Normal Square Inn has some good take out. :)

Recovering from a hangover. I feel better today because I got angry 20 minutes ago because I was too soft and people take advantage of you if your'e too soft. I had bacon, baked beans, egg, tomato, sausage on toast at the coffee shop for breakfast I just finished a strawberry milkshake now I'm at Mayfield library. I feel a bit sick on the stomach and might have to go a do a **** in 30 minutes. I said to a lady that my Grandmother was born in Bavaria which I didn't know until my mother died and my Sister told me, my Grandmother came out to Australia in 1902 as a 2 year old because they were strict Catholics and didn't like when the Prussians took over and they wanted Bavaria not to become part of Germany. She was related to the brewing company so she got some money every month which helped during the depression.

My sister and I went to 2nd and Charles and ate at Bojangles. We each got a 32oz sweet tea for one dollar. Great deal.

I was looking for a copy of The Talisman but they didn't have one. It was taking too long for them to process my credit from a trade-in so I didn't get the hardcover copies of Duma Key and Lisey's Story. I'll get them at another time. I ended up buying three paperbacks: The Ridge by Michael Koryta, The Fourth Hand by John Irving and, The Golden Apples by Eudora Welty.

Attended the school concert, which I have not in many years, because I heard the band practicing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Stairway to Heaven" and wanted to record them. They did play "Bohemian Rhapsody" and a few other oldies, but not "Stairway to Heaven" this time, otherwise very good concert. The audience was most pleased and appreciative and considered it well worth wading through a pouring rain to attend.

Volunteering with the Special Olympics Summer Games. Our team helps to stage the athletes for the track and field events. This afternoon from 1:30 to 5, then Saturday from 7:30 to 3. I'm expecting lots of high fives!
