....if there was bursitis "down there", they would just have to shoot me.....
The fear of dropping my drawers had to do with the prostrate cancer. Sometimes I think I'd rather be dropped in Chernobyl than go through that exam.....if there was bursitis "down there", they would just have to shoot me.....
Thanks, but now I've been informed I have to go through a twice yearly exam rather than yearly because of a nasty vitamin D deficiency. And now I have to take a 50,000iu pill every week. Sucks being a vampire.Healing vibes, and thankful for remission.
...nope, didn't tape it-and it was the expected straw color.....What colour was yours? Did you vedio tape it, lots of people are vedio taping these things and making money of youtube.
...I have the annual PSA drawn....started that at 45, since my dad had prostate cancer and was successfully treated......The fear of dropping my drawers had to do with the prostrate cancer. Sometimes I think I'd rather be dropped in Chernobyl than go through that exam.
So some research-- natural vit D, connection to magnesium. Thanks, but now I've been informed I have to go through a twice yearly exam rather than yearly because of a nasty vitamin D deficiency. And now I have to take a 50,000iu pill every week. Sucks being a vampire.
I’m not at all ready either. My fiancée was quick to tell me this was not something she was looking for me to do with her or because she was quitting. I was free to keep smoking but she’s just done. But, imho, she was never a hard core smoker more of just an occasional one and did it more as a social thing or a break thing. I, on the other hand, smoked since I was 17 around a pack of day, more thru college peaking at around a pack and a half a day give or take until 2003 when I found out I was going to be a Dad, BAM! Quit cold turkey never looked back until 2015 when everything got FUBAR with my ex wife. Right back on them like I never quit and, if I’m being honest, I welcomed it. They always calmed me down and gave me a few minutes of peace. All thru my divorce, the aftermath, the really crappy days afterwards, I could always go out and have a smoke you know? It was lucky that my fiancée smoked when I met her this time and that made my smoking more accepted but now she wants to be all healthy and stuff...lol
Those procedures - draining and prodding sound dreadful. Thanks, but now I've been informed I have to go through a twice yearly exam rather than yearly because of a nasty vitamin D deficiency. And now I have to take a 50,000iu pill every week. Sucks being a vampire.
Yay for remission!!Went to the doctor today and reviewed my tests. Still in remission, but had to get my elbow drained from my first ever bout of bursitis. Gross!
None of that kind of talk Holly....lolHmmm, friend. Mayhap there'll be another if it is Gan's will
Just listening to y'all talk smoking makes me want one. I don't think I could ever vape - my sister in law has a marshmallow smelling vape. I like the stench and burn of a good cigarette. I don't think I've had a habit couple of years - I haven't bought any in that long. I might have been drinking and bummed one or two. I'd quit for 13 years or so, 2001-2014, and then picked it up again when things went FUBAR. It's a good remedy sometimes.

What did you end up doingFiguring out what to work on and how.

I try to stay out of the sun as much as I can. When I was bass fishing competitively I would be in the sun for 8 hours straight. Did that for over 10 years. I developed a problem in my lip where when I'm in the sun for too long part of my lip seems to almost rot away. And I'm lazy. If things can be fixed with a pill then that's the way I flow. Those procedures - draining and prodding sound dreadful.
I keep the blinds open all the darn time - sunshine is your friend if you are Vitamin D def. I used to take 50,000 / month. I figured out what my problem was though. I can't recall what it was, but it was fixed with diet - maybe my Prilosec? I think that was causing me not to absorb Vitamin D. Wishing you good health!
Yay for remission!!
You could have called me to drain your elbow.....I do have the pointy stick and all
Working up to lunchtime, about another hour and half. Then going to Liverpool, home of the Beatles, for the weekend.
