I got a 'feeler' job offer from the principal of the school, to take over most of my current boss' job next year, as she will be moving to another school. I also have the opportunity to move with her to the new school. No pay offer has been formalized from either school--that will weigh heavily in my choice. Today is a weird day.

I'm unsure if Marsha has already messaged you, but the mods talked about this particular post together as a group before it was removed and it was more the context that the word was used in rather than the fact that you just used the "eff" word.
It just made the post cross the line into 'adult content' and because we often have school groups use the MB as a research tool, we have to be a bit careful of the content posted here.
When you have a tendency to walk on the wild side expect to have a few posts deleted. It has happened more than once to me. Sometimes I scratch my head wondering why, other times I think “yeah, I figured that would happen,” sometimes I think the mods must be having a crappy day and I must have put them over edge. But it’s all good. I now just go with it and shrug it off. The mods are good people and need to think of others who might read this MB. Many of us have had a post removed at one time or another.....mine not so much for word choice/context as it's been that I can be a royal pain in the butt.....and while it stings a little to have a post removed, after I've had time to think about it, the Mods have always been right, and they've always been very gracious and fair with me, and I'm sure they are just as fair to others.
So, I hope you'll take your time and think about it, enjoy your time away, and eventually come home to us. I'll miss seeing you around ♥

We have pretty good moderators here (damn - we have great moderators!)
Just think how awful it would be if we were all allowed to run wild
- this place would not be as good as it is 
So perhaps take some time to cool down then decide if it's worth coming back
Just reiterating what everyone else has already said Grin, everyone gets dinged on posts now and then. The mods are very professional about it, like they are everything here. Don’t take it personally, just chalk it up and go on.
....I know this reply seemed rather terse and unsentimental, but I have no patience anymore with those that get dinged for something, and go running....everyone on this Board, whether it be here or in "real" life has had to bow to some type of correction or deletion-whether we agree or not-and guess what?, life goes on....GW was fun to engage with, but if he is THAT thin-skinned, then take some time and grow a set.....
