To lighten things up just a little in this thread...

Spent the afternoon/evening watching my high school senior son go 5 for 5 in a victorious baseball game against a HUGE county rival. Last time he had that many hits in a game I think he was 12.

He played it off well but is on cloud nine.

My friend has nicknamed my son 75 cents because of the change I have to drop on purchasing local paper the day after he does well.

For those that know a little bit of my posts cannot tell you how happy I am to be around to spend those three quarters.

You have friends? :umm::)

5 for 5 is seriously good. I would have been on the edge of my seat the entire game. :thumbs_up:

What position does he play?

Lots of deletions here so no one is upset.
Actually, NOW I had to apologize to Linda in a conversation - she probably did not see the posts where I apologized for the confusion. I guess (as my son likes to say) it's all good

Anyway - to get back on topic - What did I do today?

So far, just kicking myself for trying to be funny and ending up confusing everyone.

Think I'll probably go to the local library to pick those books up

p.s. Do not look up "Female brain scan" or you'll just get old tired lame jokes about shopping and shoes, etc.

I already paid for the material but he said he did get me a good deal (regular price was normally 113 a box, so I got a pretty good discount).

By the way, is your spouse a contractor or do you just do a lot of renovations?
Mr. Blue is super handy and has replaced some of our flooring and some of our friends' flooring and we've also paid to have flooring replaced and ran into this scenario. For the record, Mr. Blue isn't a contractor though. He's a professional nerd, actually. He just happens to be good at lots of things.
