Lucky to have several nice pizza shops where I live,Italian food(though I know pizza wasn't originally considered Italian)is great here..I don't microwave leftover pizza,I put it on a plate and warm it in a toaster oven, the crust crisps up and it is plenty hot, almost as good, but different because of the crispiness, than the original delivered product..

Tripe, which I love but most people seem to hate. When I was in Scotland in 1988, I was in Glasgow and slightly drunk at nightclub and went to a takeaway joint and I got these Haggish roll things like big spring rolls. They were absolutely beautiful to eat. yummy.

Okay, I guess I'm weird with pizza. I don't care what's on it, as long as it's tasty.

I've made Grandma "Mexican pizza." I take a tortilla wrap, flat, spread tomato sauce on it, put on Mexican-style meat and vegetables (and spices), sprinkle cheese over it, and bake it. So far every one has turned out fine.

Mexican skillet lasagna. A favorite of our kids. I cook up Mexican-style ingredients, put a thin layer of meat stuff on the bottom, cover that with tortilla strips. then meat/vegetables, then refritos, then cheese, then tortilla strips, back to meat/vegetables, etc., until the skillet was full, cover it up, and cook on low heat for a while.

I can do the spinach/feta/tomato/whatever pizza just fine. What's the problem? If you've got tasty ingredients, you will enjoy a tasty result.

But some things just don't go well together. For instance, in any of the above dishes, I'd never think to add sardines. That would be both an anomaly and a travesty.

I like cold pizza with peanut butter on it, something my grandpa taught me to do.

We used to eat cheese and jam sandwiches (processed cheese slices on bread with raspberry or strawberry jam). Is that considered strange?
When we were pretty much poor, I don't think we considered ourselves poor, but I guess we were, I ate mustard sandwiches or mustard and ketchup, no meat.. not poor like some have had it in the United States but I know what it's like to have to scrape by.. one of those big blocks of government cheese was a godsend..

I have extremely strict food routines that I absolutely am not flexible with change. Microwaved pizza with pineapple, gotta have bbq sauce to dip it in otherwise I can't eat it and Tomato sauce/ketchup mixed with mac and cheese are my faves. Popcorn with butter and salt or popcorn with icing sugar are combinations I also enjoy.

I used to eat chipotle flavored popcorn when I was reading. It tastes good (to me) but it has a strong smell. Then this one time I finished a bag and my mom came into my room. She asked if I had been smoking. I never bought that popcorn again.
