You're old. Why is it your favorite?Mine is:

Because I grew up watching it when it was on the television. The stories were brilliant, especially in the first series. Without the special effects of today, the show still holds up. There is one episode that still gives me the creeps when they find this guy imprisoned inside an asteroid. The spaceships are tops. Even the computer was brilliant. The guy that did it also made the Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlett, UFO, etc. You're old. Why is it your favorite?
Good deal. I watched some of it, but by then I was finding myself incapable of keeping up with change. I mean, Landau and Barbara Bain no longer on Mission: Impossible but now on some other show? Changes; they sucked then and they suck now.Because I grew up watching it when it was on the television. The stories were brilliant, especially in the first series. Was Doctor Who big in America? I think Marvel made a comic book, so it must have been fairly popular. One of my favourite episodes in 'The Masque of Mandragora'. I like the Tom Baker doctor.I'm kinda in the same boat as mjs9153.
Doctor Who is sci-fi, but it also regularly veers off into horror and various other genres. Actually pretty much any and every genre. Even comedy.
