Whenever I go to the East Coast (Boston, Maine, New Hampshire) I crave seafood for like a month after. Recently, I really wanted Japanese noodles. However, after visiting a local Hibachi Steakhouse, my craving went away. Agh! I like going out less and less because I don't trust what anyone is feeding me! :beated:

I should just live on chocolate, broccoli and pasta. All my favorite things. But not combined (well not the chocolate anyway. Give me some pasta, bit of butter (throw in some garlic) and broccoli. That would be my meal!)

Cravings? I love just about anything edible - just about - and want it all, but cravings. Hm.

Salty and crunchy. I try not to.
Cheese. Love cheese. Try to limit myself.
Massages. Can't afford the time and money to have one every day, or every week, and it might be months between them - but I sure look forward to them.
And unfortunately, certain types of alcohol. I try to limit myself there too.

Chocolate, the good stuff and lots of it.
But, to be honest, I quit smoking 6 months ago and it still drives me nuts. It's one of those days I am trying NOT
to go to the local store (about 200yards from my front door) and buy a package. Oh the temptation of it all :nope:
Be strong - eventually it will get easier and easier - it has been six months - good for you!~ :encouragement::encouragement:

I used to crave a Coke every day. I got fidgety if I didn't have at least my one can each day. And then, out of the blue, I got sick of them. I haven't had or wanted a traditional soda in about a month.

And I was a junk food junkie...we're talking hardcore. I rarely ate anything healthy. Cheetos and cherry pie were my biggest weaknesses. Jack in the Box chicken nuggets and chocolate were an almost daily consumption. I miss my junk. Sigh.

I still get to make my super-special diabetes-in-a-spoon cookies though!

Recipe? (I know that sounds bad - but I like butter tarts, too - I just limit myself to one).

Stetson cologne!? Oh that brings back memories for me - sometimes if I smell a certain aroma it brings back memories, so not really a craving but a pleasant feeling or thought.

Yes - I think you can still get it at Christmas but it does not smell good on everybody - on Andy it smells great!

Nowwwww I remember why I wore it, my girlfriend at the time liked the way it smelled...

Guess what I am eating for lunch! ha!

Um =D:hmm:

Let's see - pasta with broccoli?

If you like that you should try Weight Watchers Smart Ones fettuccine.

Oh BTW - I did not suggest Weight Watchers to hint around about losing weight etc. - sorry! :facepalm_smiley::facepalm:

- they had a bunch of these frozen dinners on sale recently so I stocked up - took the fettuccine Alfredo one to work and I was surprised at how good it was.

Do you guys in Sweden really eat pickled fish for breakfast?

When we had some visitors from Holland back in the 70s they said they could not eat bacon for breakfast as it was too greasy, but they like to have pickled herring on toast instead.

I realize Sweden and Holland are far apart, but I was just curious if this is common these days over there?
