I'm the same way with people using an when they mean and......also, then and than are not interchangeableI admit to using those occasionally. But NEVER using "of" in place of "have"! Makes my blood boil!

....preach it sistuh!!....People who make posts as if they believe they're a moderator......
....wish I could of thought of that.....People who use "of" in place of "have", i.e. "could of", "should of" instead of "could have" or "should have". Burns. Me. Up.
...or using "you know" 14 times in one sentence, you know?.....God, yes. This. So much this! This ain't rocket surgery, it's basic 3rd grade English!

Wow, your, you're, you are, yous ... serious about this.
How bout commas?
I love the Oxford comma, lol. Well, I'm actually ambivalent about it but I tend to employ it more times than not.Just say NO to the Oxford comma!
Those damn pauses on competition shows. "And the one moving on is..." [15 seconds] Or the "We'll find out after this commercial break." I blame Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for making this a thing. An annoying thing.
Ahhh. I stopped listening to pundits around 11/16/16. Tbh, I barely listened before then.Hi, C.C
Many pundits use it when talking about politics. "Why is that senator bemoaning the traditional use of the Electoral College? To me, the whole thing is a nothing burger." That's a bad example, lol. It just means a bloated and fabricated assertion, a step further than a mere exaggeration. There can often be a legitimate point being made but it's usually lost in the histrionics of the accuser. Hope this helps.
