I'd forgotten about that kind of slide shuffle dance he does...lol I wore 2 cassettes out when the original Appetite For Destruction came out.
I see that you have the same special edition of Appetite for Destruction that I have . You know, the one with the extra songs on it....:biggrin2: It does feel like they belong there though, doesn't it?

I wore out two cassettes of that one. Still Have it on CD.
When I was going through my brother's things a few weeks ago, I found the vinyl album. It's in really good shape......couldnt bring myself to take it home with me though.

It does, I was so p**sed off when the G N' R Lies album came out that I swore off them completely it was so different from AFD. Got back into them when Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 came out and then started appreciating the Lies album a bit more.
It's funny, I can remember riding with my friend, Gary, when I was 14 years old and he'd just turned 16 when this album came out in 1987, heard "Welcome to the Jungle" on our local radio station, started looking for the cassette soon after and we both bought it. That was a fun summer, luckily my parents neither knew nor cared what I was up to.....lol

I didn't mind Lies. Appetite is still my favorite, though. The raw talent of the original group was something else .
