A Taco Bell in Montgomery, Alabama burned down and a hundred people held a candle light vigil for it....
Yikes (are you being serious or just joking?)

We ended up going through the drive thru at KFC/Taco Bell and got some tacos and something called a chalupa

I did not really like it (at first I thought they had done something weird to my taco shell) - I prefer the crunchy hard tacos.

Then on the way home I did buy some ground chuck to use tomorrow, so I can make supper at home!

I have a dilemma...... My lot is large and sloped, making it fantastic for neighborhood kids to go sledding. None of them have ever asked, they just do it......mostly while I'm at work and there is no school. I know they've been there from the sled marks and footprints, and sometimes they forget their sled when they go home. I don't mind any of that, and swore I'd never be "that" neighbor who chases kids off the lawn.
The problem is that I also live right on the street, and I'm scared to death that one of those kids will be unable to stop the sled and run it into the street under a car. The driveway is sort of in a blind curve, and the slope spills out into the driveway. I've almost been hit several times backing the car out.
I don't even know where the kids live, so I can't really talk to their parents about it unless I just go door to door.
doesn't your property have a fence? If it had a fence they would have to stop before reaching the street. You can also have temporary fencing that would suffice. I wouldn't allow kids to be using my property to play games on because even if you haven't given them permission, if one of them gets injured, they could possibly file a law suit agaisnt you. First I'd erect a fence, then put a sign on the fence with a 'Beware of the Dog' and 'Private Property/No Trespassing'. You have to cover yourself because I don't know about American Law, but there was a case in the late 1970's where an intruder broke into someone's house and got injured after jumping over the fence and they sued the owner--succesfully--for not keeping there property in a condition that might be expected to be 'foreseeable' for such an incident to be expected.

Nope, no fence......and the estimate to put up a fence is rather costly. I don't allow anyone to use my property. They do it when I'm not home, and leave trash, etc for me to pick up. The local police can't do anything unless they actually see someone here, so it's a catch 22.

...you need to schedule an appt. with an ENT MD.....there has to be an underlying cause as to why you get these recurrent ear infections.....
Have an appt. tomorrow morning. They put tubes in about a year and a half ago, not many problems since then. I'm almost wondering if they've worked their way out. When the Doc put them in, he said they'd stay in at least a year.
