They had to rewrite all the crazy stuff on the walls from video of the series because production always puts things back exactly as they had left them. Our guide bemoaned that they had not taken original stuff from the dumpster. Anyway in the series it shows Carl heading the wrong way to the store. By the magic of editing he reaches it without having to walk around the world.

The front of the store. They took the old doors out and installed a more modern entrance and after replaced things as before. I have no idea why Santa was there the first week of November.

The inside was bare. It was full of clothing and what-nots for the episode.

I messed up before when I said the Masons hall was where they interrogated Glen and Maggie. That was where they bonked the Woodbury guy on the head while they were rescuing Glen and Maggie. Where they questioned them was this place-

Also where Gov tortured Andrea.

It's just one street left of main in Senoia.

This is the far side. During a previous tour one fellow walked over and kicked a door open to take pics inside. I wonder if he thought it was worth it when he was arrested. See the camera boom? Likely a storage spot but I've seen the outside of the building in later scenes and gone OOOO OOOOO there it is!

I showed the death bar where the party for recently deceased cast are sent off but here is one they use for parties of a happier sort. This is the back entrance for to sneak in. He said that everyone would go in without acknowledging the fans behind a cordon nearby except Norman Reedus who would run over and make their day by taking pics with them. He's a great guy and a weirdo. My sort of people.

This is inside. Never let a bar go unexplored is my motto.

We tried a local brew called "Turtle Head". It was okay but I would rather have a Ying Ling. The novelty is of course the name. Yum yum Turtle Head after Carl's new girlfriend's lunch.

Up front they even had a piano player.

This sign was at the main Alexandria gate. I suppose they have had their share of trespassers.

On the other hand everybody has to eat and you could gander at the zombies and random cast from the local grocery fence as they ate here if you wanted. We never caught lunch just right.

We did not want to wind up here so I took that from the road as we passed by.

I'm sure there was a loose board in that grocery fence where you could get a good view of the green roofed structure where they ate though. Maybe next time.

I get it. I've stayed under the radar like that on occasion. I hope you put your dormant writing talent to good use. You have a memoir in you. All the best.

Damn nice of you to say. Truthfully I have. I was asked in TTLG forums community chat to post some of my stories and I was thinking of writing a death book for my kids to find anyway so I posted quite a lot of my stories there. Sort of a collection of this is my life stuff. I tried to do it warts and all. It's been a fun life but maybe too fun at times. I don't think I ever held back on doing or trying anything in spite of consequences in my life. And too there were the strange things I mostly posted here.

It's been great getting to know you and everyone here. I'll miss that. But I will drop by weekend hangout more when this place folds. Luck to all of you because I've found when you have luck that's all you need.
