The doctor drained 110 cc of fluid out of my knee the first time and 30cc after my MRI so I guess that means things were improving.
...no wonder you had so much pain!....damn that’s a lot of fluid....an effusion like that isn’t normal of course, but unless you have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid, which if the imaging was clear-is not the case, maybe it’s wear and tear for all the walking and such...course I don’t know your weight but stress on the joint could cause it as well....possibly a micro-tear in a ligament?.....

I'm 6'1" and weigh in the 190-198 range (depending on the time of year :))

....according to the BMI index you’re considered overweight. 140 to 189 is supposed to be optimum weight for your height but I don’t put much stock in that....it seems that these calculators want everyone to be damn near skeletal....I know I’m overweight, but I’m considered morbidly obese at 6’9” and 350.... no chart goes that high but from the closest one I could find, I should be like 260 or less....to hell with that!....I like my cookies, and besides-I haven’t seen that weight since high school...I am trying to shed some, but ain’t gonna lose 90 pounds....

(((fljoe0)))- Glad your knee is improving. Hubby had something similar a few months back (sharp pain behind knee when he was coming down a ladder). He was limping for a few days, then it got better, so not as severe as your case. Hope they figure out something concrete for you, or if not, at least that it doesn't happen again. Safe bending!!!

So sorry to hear about your friend

(That's a great thing about the signed book though!)

I sometimes wonder how stacy270 and @miserychastainlovesco. are doing - I can find Stacy on here but not Lori (misery)
