I'm also going to go and see IT again in the theater. This time, I hope to pick up on things I may have missed the first go 'round. Plus the three minutes I missed for a bathroom break.

There were a lot of people going to the bathroom during my showing. And I'm thinking, HOLD IT! You're going to miss so much!I'm also going to go and see IT again in the theater. So that would explain it - we had a group of four giggly young teenage girls who chatted and laughed. At one point one pulled out her cell phone and started texting. I accidentally on purpose gave her seat a good kick - she put the phone away.I found that many people laughed during certain scenes that weren't objectively funny, but this is pretty common during horror movies that are pushing the envelope. I don't mind it, people are uncomfortable and they laugh sometimes to cover the discomfort. It would be weirder if everyone constantly screamed during the movie!
Sure. I would speak to the manager and explain. I bet since you paid for it once, they might just let you in again. So that would explain it - we had a group of four giggly young teenage girls who chatted and laughed. We went on a Monday evening to see the IMAX version - I feel like going back to say our experience was ruined by these girls. Do you think they'd let us see it again? [I still have my ticket stubs]
I guess they weren't really all that bad, but they did distract me from quite a few scenes. I like to get totally immersed in a movie and wish I could have gone to one of the screenings where it was almost silent (like not_nadine described) but I had to work last weekend.
By the time I got to the movie theatre on the weekend it was sold out for the 7:30 show and I was too tired to wait until 10, since I had to be up early on Sunday morning.
I have Wednesday off - maybe I'll go for it - it seems like it's no use calling - you just get a recording and it's almost impossible to get a live human being.Sure. I would speak to the manager and explain. I bet since you paid for it once, they might just let you in again.
She had very big blue eyes. A cutie.I have Wednesday off - maybe I'll go for it - it seems like it's no use calling - you just get a recording and it's almost impossible to get a live human being.
I thought Bev Marsh was quite beautiful, with a natural beauty and a real gutsy feel to her personality.

....this young lady is gonna slay the fellers with her looks!....she could be super-model material as she matures......
She looks so much like my old friend Mildred - she lived down the street from us when we were in the Married Quarters and we both had babies at the same time (1982)
I thought Richie stole the show. Couldn't figure out where I recognized him from, then finally remembered he was in Stranger Things! His name is Finn Wolfhard and he is an excellent young actor.
....5 women in the potty and you were all fast?!?!....I'da paid admission just to witness THAT!.....Believe me, I held it as long as I could without drowning. There were about five of us that went at the same time and we were all fast!
....it was one comment....sorry it ruined your day.....Can we not sully?
I'm not a huge fan of all-out horror movies, plus I am a serious germophobe. Am proud of myself for venturing out on my own to see this yesterday. I was the creepy person in the second to the last row, carrying a small spray bottle of hand sanitizer that I used to douse my seat with. I usually don't carry a purse, but brought one to the movie so I could keep my hands inside and not touch anything!
It was Eddie for me. Talking away about every danger that could be. . Cracked me up, it did.
Yeah, that Eddie cracked me up the most. And Ritchie, of course, but that hypochondriac Eddie...hoo boy, what a riot!
