Hello everyone :)

My dream is to meet Stephen King. Realizing that I lack social connections, I could settle for sending him a letter (and receiving a response finger crossed).
To reach that goal....
Could any of you tell me where to send a letter? I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask that question, but I am new to the world of online fandom.
And you all seem hospitable enough ;)

Thanks in advance

Hey there and welcome to the SKMB - I love your intro post!

I wanted to say I have a "yen" for you, but did not want you to take it the wrong way :chew: - please tell me you are not Tara McFarlane in disguise, trying to weedle her way into our boards again :wink:

Just curious. Who is Tara McFarlane? Did I miss something because my coffee hasn't kicked in yet?

She started the thread about silly or asinine threads (or words to that effect) - I will see if I can find the link. It is where the term "sully this thread" became popular. It must have happened when you had to take your little break from the board?

OH Okay. This was recently. Right? I remember now, thanks Neesy. She's the one who asked why we talk about things that had nothing to do with Stephen King.
(She doesn't know that all things serve Stephen King I guess. :sneaky:)
Coffee engaging slowly. :okay:

If your Dream is to Meet Stephen King then all you have to do it make it happen. Your chances of meeting him in person are actually better than getting him to respond to your letter. Let me explain, I don't know where you are located so if you are not in the United States then it would be a bit more costly but not impossible by no means. He will do more book signings and speaking engagements, I do not know of any planned at the moment, but I assure you there will be more in the future. Just keep an eye on this board and social media and you wont miss when the next signings are. Then it is as simple as how much do you want to go. Hopefully one would be a reasonable travel distance from you. I have met SK three times, shook his hand and spoken to him for a min or two as well have receiving signed books and at one amazing event sat front row and listened to him speak for hours as well as read from his latest book. Point is, its very possible to achieve this dream and I hope it happens for you as it is an unforgettable experience. Also Welcome to the board.
