As far as versatility with characterizations go, how about Ruth Wright, who did Huey/Riley on the Boondocks?

"Too much twisted steel and sex appeal. It'd look like (we) won him in a raffle." (my second favorite movie quote, and so applicable here )Found it, duh.
Okay, didn't Stephen say he had Clint Eastwood in mind when he wrote this story? Well, Clint has a son, Scott. He looks exactly like Clint, those steely blue eyes. Rough this boy up--tone down some of that pretty-- and hopefully he can act.
But Eddie is supposed to be a 21 YO, moderately attractive guy--dark hair, hazel eyes, great smile (I'm reading DoTT again right now & just passed his description--lol. For some reason, I saw him as older than that for years.) Pesci is a great actor, but he's nowhere near any of thatI have always pictured Eddie Dean as Joe Pesci. With the whole 'could talk the devil into setting himself on fire' and 'My Cousi Vinny' NY mob schtic. I know he is a bit old...perhaps a younger version?
If that's her, she looks a lot like Regina King in this picture (and I do think RK would be great as 'Detta/Mia/Susannah)As far as versatility with characterizations go, how about Ruth Wright, who did Huey/Riley on the Boondocks?
My son and I watch Boondocks together. As far as versatility with characterizations go, how about Ruth Wright, who did Huey/Riley on the Boondocks?
There is so much funny stuff, but most of it can't be repeated here! I can't believe some of the storylines they do and the things that are said.Awesome... my friend and his daughter, together we watch the Boondocks as well..
"They ridin' me like a rodeo!!!"
"Uncle Ruckus, no relation..."
She's pretty enough...As far as versatility with characterizations go, how about Ruth Wright, who did Huey/Riley on the Boondocks?
She's a talented actress. I think she could do it, and she has the physicality that a lot of the other actresses mentioned don't. Susannah can't be a waif--my inner vision of her is as a fantastically fit person.SkiMom, good comparison.... don't know about Regina King being able to do the voice changes though...
I've heard the name often (not surprising with two teen girls--lol), but I had no idea what he looked like. Yeah, he's a good fit!Maybe he's too old for Eddie, but, to pick out of Supernatural once again, Jensen Ackles:
He is definitely serious enough and has a great voice as well. I never thought of Liam Neeson. I keep picturing a young Clint Eastwood type. This guy could Roland:
