Nice one, Scott!
....thanks D!....it is just a wondrous piece.....I don't mean to keep gushing, but now I see why people spend so much on collector editions.....the other 3 books I got were wonderfully annotated and autographed as well....now I have a couple of Owen's autographs and Kelly seems like a very sweet girl.....

Yes, some of those signed collector editions are rather beautiful, but now I'm starting to think 'Do I really need to spend that much on a book when I could use the money for a nice trip somewhere?', etc. But, I'm afraid the collecting in my dna now.....

Good for you Scott! Congratulations and it's beautiful. Well worth it.
I like to live by the motto that we don't just work to pay bills. You have to treat yourself while you're alive to enjoy it because you sure can't take it with you when you go!
I also look at it as an investment. While I have no plans to sell my collection in the near future nor for a long while after that someday I will because I have no one to leave it to and it will be a part of my retirement plan (god willing I live that long!) The book market is always changing but one thing that stays true is King books are always appreciating and almost never depreciating. I don't collect for this reason, I collect because I love the stories, King, and the beautiful editions that are lovingly crafted, but can't help to consider it.
For you it's something to leave for your kids to treasure.
