Your Stephen King "Comfort" Book

Whenever I'm on vacation, I always take along the same 2 books each and every time: 'Salem's Lot and The Shining.
I always feel at odds about being away from home and out of my usual "comfort zone" and I find that the familiarity of these novels keeps me, in a way, "comforted".

Anyone else feel this way or am I really just from another planet?!

Wolves or On Writing, I suppose unless I'm working on a newread, which lately I always am. I confess to bringing the next in a predetermined list of sK books to newread (I'm way behind, unlike many of you; my reread list is gradually growing, however, which means that as long as sK keeps writing stories there'll be two mustread lists being compiled at all times in my head. No wonder horror lovers act out) with me on a time away from home.
