It's more about which stories I read as opposed to books. I'm partial to The Long Walk, The Running Man, From a Buick 8, and Rose Madder. Oh yes, and The Colorado Kid. They're my goto stories. They're really worn out. I've replaced Rose Madder 3 times already.

Whenever I'm on vacation, I always take along the same 2 books each and every time: 'Salem's Lot and The Shining.
I always feel at odds about being away from home and out of my usual "comfort zone" and I find that the familiarity of these novels keeps me, in a way, "comforted".

Anyone else feel this way or am I really just from another planet?! :upside:
Yup - you are from "another planet"

Just kidding! :tounge:

I think I would take 11/22/63 with me, although actually when I went to Mansfield Ohio last summer, I took "Full Dark, No Stars" with me and enjoyed the four shortish stories in that one.

That is unusual - I liked Rose Madder a lot, myself - even the fantasy aspect of it.
