Blockade Billy. Only because I'm a bathroom, lunch-break, waiting-for-the-car-to-warm-up, waiting-for-my-wife-to-get-ready reader, and this book is short, sweet and portable. I have multiple copies where I need them the most; glove box, under the toilet paper rolls, in the garage, top drawer of my desk at work. I'm serious.
All of The Dark Tower books I can read over and over. I've probably read The Stand 10 times. If I'm going out of town, even if I'm in the middle of something, any one of his short story collections normally finds it's way into my bag.
When i'm travelling going to my province, i always bring
Previously : Misery, Everything's Eventual, The Shining, Carrie
Currently : Mr. Mercedes (My second copy that was in a mass paperback and has full of drawings and reference writing because that copy was dedicated to my Mr. Mercedes art project), Finders Keepers, Dr. Sleep, 11/22/63, Everything's Eventual, Full dark, No stars (because my cousin love this book so i always bring it) and Joyland
Soon : End of Watch will probably join to my currently lol
Mine would have to be IT. It take me back to my own childhood and memories of the friends I used to knock around with. We were so like the losers club it's like reading about my own summer holidays as a child (minus the shapeshifting killer clown of course...).
