About halfway through Donnie Brasco right now. Pretty good... for a Johnny Depp movie, that is.

Last night I watched Perks of Being a Wallflower - it was pretty sad, very moving and tragic. Oh the angst of being a teenager! How did we all survive? And if you were unlucky enough to have an issue of some kind, it was even worse - you think everyone knows your humiliating secrets. I sort of wish I hadn't watched it.
That was with Kate Hudson, right? I liked that one.Just watched Skeleton Key. It was surprisingly good.
Yep. I liked it, too. Very unexpected and clever twist at the end! That was with Kate Hudson, right? I liked that one.
Love it!"Black Swan" - starring Natalie Portman. Tale of a prima ballerina, consumed by her obsession to give the perfect performance in Swan Lake, and to quite literally die for her art. Terrific choreography beautiful filmed.
I agree with you jussupoff, a very dramatic film with a superb performance from Mickey Rourke, but I have to admit I had not realised it had the same director. Thanks for pointing that out.Love it!
I also love The Wrestler from the same director, although it was emotionally hard to watch the first time around.
I have heard that those two are part of a kind of trilogy that Aronofski is making. I can't see any direct links between the two movies (except for the dramatic and dark content), but I am not an expert. I don't know if the third part will be his next movie, though, as it is about Noah. Say no more, say no more!Oh I don't know, I think there is a link after all The Wrestler was a bit of an animal!
