No, I'd never heard of it but I looked it up after reading your post. I think I'll see if it's available at the library next time I go!
Today I saw a bald eagle swoop down from a pine and snatch a mouse from tall weeds in a roadside ditch just as I passed by in my vehicle. Nobody else was on that stretch of road. It was like magic performed just for me.

My neighbors are in some kind of trouble. Police were there yesterday, and took all their vehicles that were in the driveway. A car, a pickup with a trailer hooked to it that had his riding lawn mower on it, and one motorcycle. They waited for him to come home, and there was a lot of arguing. The man left after a bit, and left his wife there to deal with it. We heard one of the cops yell at them to get over top of their yelling, and the cop said 'you are suspect'.
Everyone in my little town knows he deals drugs, so I don't know if there is a connection to that.
No one is there this morning. No kids got picked up on the bus, and the man has never come back home.
If you remember, I have said they are the neighbors from hell, so I am not sorry this happened.

Kind of awful, isn't it? Especially for someone not used to backed up downtown expressway traffic. I deal with some of that to and from work each day, due to when my shift starts, unless it's a holiday.
yuck. I feel for you. I will say, everyone we were around were very courteous. They let us in and were very polite. Maybe this is the attitude Atlantans have because you all have to deal with this?A little earlier I passed where you were going north.
Yes, I've noticed that, too, and have assumed it's the reason. I know for my part as a driver I do to others as I would have done to me, or try to, which includes keeping the guy behind me in mind, as well. So, I don't let "too many" people in front before I pass them so they have a chance with the guy behind me, and I try to stay as close to the person in front of me as safely possible. Also, I almost never touch my cell phone when I'm on the road, especially the expressway, which is 90% of my driving time. This allows me to be most courteous and aware.
But enough about me.
Because plants don't have braaaaaaaaaaaaains!
Just me talking . . .always be true to yourself and appreciate every and any thing. For goodness sake don't be self-centered. It ain't all about you. Demand and walk in respect, not fear. There is a difference.

I wish I wasn't so lazy, I'd get my camera and film my husband playing with his dog and show you - they do this every morning and every night. It's so much fun to watch. We've had her for 2 years and she's made such a good difference in his life. Which really makes a good difference in all of our lives.
