I wish I wasn't so lazy, I'd get my camera and film my husband playing with his dog and show you - they do this every morning and every night. It's so much fun to watch. We've had her for 2 years and she's made such a good difference in his life. Which really makes a good difference in all of our lives.
Take pix, show us!

Today I saw a bald eagle swoop down from a pine and snatch a mouse from tall weeds in a roadside ditch just as I passed by in my vehicle. Nobody else was on that stretch of road. It was like magic performed just for me.

Hey who likes the zombie makeup my daughter helped me with? The zombie run is this weekend and I"m getting excited. She is going with newly infected but chewed up and I'm going with older full blown infected with more decay.
Our Zombie Crawl is on Sat. here :) The kids and I have done it the last two years, but might pass this year.

I will be at Disneyworld Tuesday with my King Kon shirt on. If you see me, say hi.
Have fun!
- Yup - what Miz Spidey said!

If it is the bright orange one it will look great with the black mouse ears

Awww. Come on. You can't let the undead down (or is that keep the undead down?). I really enjoyed it. Well, except for those kids who were traumatized. There was this one I was telling "no, no, it's just make up" and trying to calm him and he did calm a bit but he was looking at me like I was a lying zombie and it was a new tactic or something. Damned lying zombies are the worst.

Don't leave home without your batteries. I get to Ontonagon yesterday and that's what I did...left home without my batteries. Last time it was the shop-vac. Guy at the hardware store is going to ask so wha'd you forget this time next time he sees me. Then...I forget my wallet in the truck. Good thing for that keypad on the door. Onward and upward.

oops...forgot...time in between I forgot the tarp.

Observation of The Exorcist movie: I think I'm more scared by '70s medical practices than of Demon Regan. Wasn't always this way, but... yeah.

Ick....that angiogram scared me. I watched this movie way too young.

You might need to start making lists. Are you over 40? Do you drink coffee? If you answered yes to these, your memory is sketchy. Make lists.

How about medical practices before the 1800's all around?
True, but I'd forgotten the part where they did the cat scan and had to stick the huge needle in her throat. The blood spurting out before they attached it to the tubing made me feel sick. And everyone was smoking, even in the hospital during tests! And all the equipment looked beat to **** and filthy!

My daughter was shocked. Her comment: "How the hell did you people stay alive?" :D

LOL - too true skimom's girl. I remember all my dad's brothers and sisters smoking in the ICU waiting area while one of their siblings was recovering from open heart surgery.

My theory about how people survived back then when medicine was in its infancy stages was that a lot of the illnesses that they had that would have been identified today, they would not have known they had so their bodies would have acted as if they were not sick. I think that would have protected them at least a little.
