Baked beans (Or is that just in The UK)...
Franks (hot dogs) and beans! As American as apple pie. A 4th of July staple the whole country over.

You get automatic jail time if a handgun is found on you. People can have them if their work involves risk. I think folks in a shooting club can get them but this requires lots of legal stuff. One can use rifles for hunting. I think you are required to have a shooting ability test first....at least it was that way in Newfoundland. Our laws are similiar to Britians.
I think the Southern states have some of the greatest thinkers in American history....they certainly have some of the best writers. I love everything southern.
