I'm happy for him that he's making a change that he feels will benefit his well-being but it's going to be a very high bar for his replacement to live up to. I'll give the show a chance and see how it goes. Same for Colbert as I'm not sure I'll like his being out of character when he takes over Letterman. Have never been a big Letterman fan--just didn't see what the big deal was--but will be interesting to see if Colbert makes the show his own while playing it straight.

It didn't help my dislike of him when he was rude to Steve when he appeared on Letterman several years ago. It wasn't just me who noticed either. We got a lot of feedback from fans saying they felt the same.

Honestly don't remember or even when exactly it was. Tried doing a search on YouTube to see if there might be a video posted but not getting the right search criteria in to keep the results from being astronomical.
