Took the stuff down today. Had a good Christmas day dinner with the family. Wife got sick halfway through. Was able to continue hosting while providing TLC. It all was ultimately good and went well. Got some stuff (my fave gift being 14 used hardcover SK novels I didn't own or have given away in the past...I'm up to about 46 now). To paraphrase..."Meet the new year...same as the old year!". Happy 2016, mal.
Oh yeah. I did a thing while the board was down for the holidays. I started an afghan, it's almost finished.
I have now told you everything.... Or did I?
I haven't checked my little bag of TMI yet.

Christmas was fine with family. New Years was quiet....the way I like it. I took up smoking again last year and gave it up again on New Years Day. Grumble...grumble...bloody`hell.....oh nevermind, it is not all that bad really, I am just just funnin.

Dana Jean -- awesome with the sign lessons and such a pretty quilt.I progressed to lesson 17 in my sign language studies. That's the equivalent of a second class in a second semester college course.
I started a clamshell baby quilt. THis is what one looks like, but this isn't mine.
I got my xmas tree put up xmas eve, so it's staying through January.
Caught a horrible cold. Slept a lot.

Thank you! I have a flannel shirt that I love that's on it's last... leg... sleeve? So before I cut it down to make rags I wanted to make an afghan that had the same colors in it.
Now keeping the cats off my lap while crocheting, that's another story.
I'm, into vintage crafts again. Making crocheted hot pads from 6 pack soda can plastic rings. Being non soda drinkers became difficult to find. Daughter just brought me 200 of them! Best I get busy!
Be sure and post a pic of those, I'm intrigued.
I learned a good hunk of sign language back when I worked in the hospital. We had a long term patient who was deaf and he taught me some. Enough for us to have a conversation, a real slow one LOL. I can't remember a lot of it now, hardly any of it as a matter of fact. Every once in a while I'll sit and do the alphabet just to keep it in my mind. I still remember giraffe and tiger for some reason. Keep up the good work!I progressed to lesson 17 in my sign language studies.
