Okay, I gotta see this one.Told ya. That stuff with the shadows, eerie. The odd sounds. Feels like yer watching something you shouldn't.
Oh, here's the whole freaking thing! Thankee, Sai Deej!!!In the public domain. On youtube
The shadow work was quite intriguing. I'm thinking this was a new technique that he wanted to capitalize on. The shadow work was very well done for the time, and yes, eerie.Told ya. That stuff with the shadows, eerie. The odd sounds. Feels like yer watching something you shouldn't.
Agreed. The book is well worth checking out, too.The Cloud Atlas-- excellent.
If not, Hulu does. You'll have to check if it's on the free side as well as the paid side (but when I watched it, I THINK it was before I paid for the monthly HuluPlus).I wonder if Netflix has it.
My favorite British comedy duo, French & Saunders, do a hilarious spoof of this movie! Saunders take on Nicole Kidman is fantastic ('They used a body double for me- it was a small giraffe.'!!!) and Dawn French as Renee Zellwegger is phenominal! Search it out, you won't regret it.Cold Mountain, for the eleventy billionth time. No one gives a bad (or even mediocre) performance in this movie, and it's absolutely beautiful to look at. Love the book, too

It's probably up there. Youtube has everything- they probably even have a video of my birth and we didn't even have video cameras back then!!!!You Tube?
On my dvd it's separated into three or four different segments, but they're all funny. You Tube?

I don't have the focus to watch this movie. Too many weird, dreamy things, is it real? is it not? who is dead? WTH? KRF, explain it to me.Mulholland Dr. (aka, Mulholland Drive). If there ever was a movie needing to be watched more than once this is it. My lack of expertise in general understanding movies prevents me from commenting much on this one. It is one of my favorite movie mysteries (...if there is a mystery... - Roger Ebert). Halfway through, anything the viewer knows about what's going on he is forced to stop knowing. The story is beyond thought provoking. Recommended for those who don't mind their minds being blown.

But...then, you must've watched it. Or maybe you have only read reviews?I don't have the focus to watch this movie. Too many weird, dreamy things, is it real? is it not? who is dead? WTH? KRF, explain it to me.
I've watched parts of it. And I'm always doing something, and I look up and think, Huh? what? Obviously not focusing on it, I miss major things.But...then, you must've watched it. Or maybe you have only read reviews?
Is that how you watch most movies? That's kind of me. I'm usually playing at the SKMB while "watching" a movie, then realize I have no idea what the movie is even about.I've watched parts of it. I'm doing a host of other things while watching movies most times. Every once in a while I will sit and just watch the movie, but it is rare.Is that how you watch most movies? That's kind of me.
