Modern technology-- the good, the bad and the ugly.

This is all three--it will, eventually, sort of, work, but it will make you pay dearly for the privilege. Personally I believe Apple should withdraw this app and apologize to all who were victimized by it.

Okay, i personally can't rant in my house because my parents, uncles and aunties will put me on hot seat and will ask me ridiculously question so i'll rant my feelings here. I was burning right now in anger.

I. . . REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE MY UTILITY PROFESSOR. This man should know how the students felt when he tell us hurtful words.
A while ago, he was askin us a question that was supposed to be learned in higher year level, so we actually don't know that thing, and he start scursing on us, even me, who is already has a seniority towards to my classmates, still did not escape his hurtful words. When we did not answered his question, he would curse in us and he would blame our other professor who handled other subject where his question belongs to.
i really hate how he downgrade other professors that i know, was a lot better than him, he was also a good professor, but he has a bad attitude that is the entire reason why some of the students hate him.
And he is so proud to tell the whole student that ipbecause he was so terror, many students dropped the subject where he thought.mand he was so happy about it.

This professor should learn to look at the feleings of others, not comparing us to him, because some of us are weak and has a fragile feelings.

If i have a guts right now, i would slap him with the sole of my shoes. (Which is, of course, did not do it, because i still have respect to the people who is much older than me, in the end, i will end up keeping all my anger to myself)

As for iTunes, I DID, after enduring excruciating agonies of the damned, manage to get ONE book series onto the phone. I compare the process to Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea: you fight tooth and nail for days, through blood, sweat, toil, and tears, to land the sucker, then if it is small enough to pull on board it will destroy your boat, if it is large enough to tie alongside it will be devoured by sharks. You will be left with nothing to show for your struggle but bare bones. It did transfer the books, divided into Sections, onto the phone, but it WON'T play them in order. Say there are 14 sections. It will play Section 8 all through, but when it reaches the end, it will do one of three things: 1. Just stop. 2. Start back at Section 1. 3. Start at the beginning of any of its other favorite Sections before or after 8. It seems to prefer some above others as I have heard some of the same ones several times. What it WILL NOT DO is proceed to Section 9, which the old, unspoiled version of iTunes ALWAYS DID with NO PROBLEM. This having to reset every hour or so could prove a real problem on a 5-hour car trip. By the time I am through with this I will be in shape for a Section 8!

Curious as to what book this was.

I have seen the best books of my generation destroyed by iTunes.

(I know, you are disappointed it was not something by Stephen King!)

I'm glad you noticed. That was me for hours last night. I thought I got bit by a bug. Just an itchy spot on my back...you know that area in the middle of your back that most people can't reach themselves? And as the evening wore on, the itching just kept spreading. When it hit my face and inside my ears, that was it. I broke down and took a benedryl. Then I also needed Advil before bed due to a headache and some stuffiness. (Had that prior to the itching.)

I was actually a bit surprised when I woke up this morning...all those drugs in me.

I'm not really angry, but I had an odd thing happen to me.

I was at Lowe's the other day, looking at the patio things they had out. I was wearing a t shirt with a sugar skull on the front. Two employees walked by me talking to each other. They didn't say hi to me or acknowledge me in anyway. No, "can I help you?" or anything like that, which is fine. That isn't the odd thing. These employees pass me and keep walking.

Then, one of the employees, female, turned around and came back to me and loudly asked me, "Did you wear that shirt so everyone would look at your boobs?" -- I kid you not.

At the time, I was a little taken aback, but I just said, "no." And then looked down to see what the big deal was. Well, the eyes of the sugar skull were on each boob, so it looked like a bug-eyed sugar skull. Okay, I see what you were going for. BUT REALLY? You made it a point to turn around and come back and ask me if I was wanting people to look at my boobs. Loudly.

I just said, I guess I won't wear this shirt again. And she said, oh no, don't do that.

The whole thing was weird. But I didn't really give it anymore thought, but as time has gone on, I'm thinking, she is really lucky I did not complain. She could have been in huge trouble, possibly losing her job.

What would you have done?
