I'm happy because the upstairs chores are done and it's almost time for RJ's nappy, so I can go hide downstairs and get back to the book! (And work on the mountain of wash, too. )

Cool. I got a new burro today and I think it may need its own room. Too messy.I am happy because I got a new bureau today. It is a cherry wood finish, and it's really pretty.
Just got my DNA results! Wayyy earlier than I expected, but my thought is they started processing before they actually told me they did as they had my test 2 weeks before I got any notice.Well, one is already through, and the other has a year. We know there is some strong Native American on my dad's side, (I forget the tribe) but it has to be verified through a male descendent to be able to be legit. I mean, it could say I am so much percentage NA, but as far as the tribe recognizing it? They will only recognize if a male in the family can prove it. The only male left in my family to prove it is my brother. So, depending on how mine turns out, I may pay for a test for him as my cousin has small children who could definitely benefit college wise.

Anyway, some surprising things. I am just giggling with my results and will say more when I have time. But for now, just know,

Great timing. I ordered the book 'The Journey of Man' by Spencer Wells today. I saw the documentary based on it a few years ago. Definitely worth a watch, if you get chance Dana.As champ1966 's shirt says, we are all Africans. But, my DNA proves it! Again, if you know how dna passes down, you may or may not have lost that strand. I am thrilled my strand is still there.
