I remember now.

"Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony, please come around. Something is lost and can not be found"

SwiftMom says that prayer when she loses something.

It always reminded me of.....

One, two, Freddy's coming for you! Three, four, better lock the door! Five, six grab your crucifix! Seven, eight better stay up late! Nine, ten never sleep again.......

Well, that was interesting. DD#1's car had a major seizure on the way to a concert tonight, about an hour from home. She calls me, having a crying meltdown. Lucky for her, she has Super Dad and just happened to break down right by an auto parts store--lol. Mark was able to buy the piece she needed and install it by cell phone flashlight light. It's a miracle she didn't burn up her engine.

Now dad is even more a Superman in kids ' eyes, and that makes me happy :) Being dad of teens is a tough gig, especially if you're trying to do it right.

Bonus : the girls now better understand why 'educated idiots' have never held much appeal for me. :)

Happy times! How long is she going to be with you? Are you able to eat regular foods yet?

She has to leave tonight, she had a call from work and one of her cases is in Court tomorrow at 10am. Had to shorten
her visit but I understand from experience she must be there. It has been so nice to have her and feel lucky she has
been here for 4 days. Eating, well, sort of is the best answer I guess. But I am doing better :)
Oh, I think she is awake. She wants to get on here and say hello to all of you :)

Hi there SK people
Hope each and every one of you are doing okay. This is a bonus to get on this MB and a privilege. It has been a great
visit with Mom she looks better. The weather has been amazing and so has the food.Couldn't take Mom out for dinner
yet but next time she will be able to. So instead I went to the bakery and boought some things she likes. All the baking
she did well it gone, I ate it all. The potato salad was great OoO :) ;) Today I am going to catch up her laundry,
We went shopping yesterday and were trying on dresses. She tried on this one dress and she looked so beautiful and knew she wouldn't buy it so I bought it for her. She is so happy.
How are you doing GNT and Danie how is school.Mom said school is back in where you live.Who is the one that told her
about eBay? She found postcards on the U.K. site. The mailman needs a truck to bring the parcels. Better get off here
before your moderator gives me the heave ho :) Take care everyone and God bless each and every one of you. You are wonderful
people. Mom's eyes sparkle when she talks of all of you.
Bye for now,
Anne (Alexandra's daughter-the one who is getting on the plane 5 lbs heavier than when she arrived)

Worked. On the train home. I now have to deal with SwiftMama drama. Seems some important paperwork has been misplaced. I swear my Mom would lose her head if it wasn't attached to her body. Gotta go over there and see if I can help her find it. Not how I want to spend the evening :(

You are a good SwiftSon to your SwiftMama. Maybe help you mama put together a labeled file. Good luck finding the paperwork.

just checked to see if there had been a response from BetterWorldBooks. Purchased a book Kurben read though I forget the title, purchased at Amazon from BWB and they sent the wrong book. Contacted them e-mail, but there's no reply at all as the song has it, no reply at all. Today I swapped out broken or cracked insulated glass in two windows for two different customers, then I tore out the steps to the front deck of one of them (customers) and rebuilt the steps, added a handrail to both sides, and wrapped the exterior casing of one window--that I forgot to wrap about a month ago when I was there. Remembered to call a roof customer in Houghton when I got in the truck to go home...dial...hit send...and wait. And wait. Look at the phone, this thing working? Apparently. Wait some more....rings...voice mail. I leave my mark.

Spaghetti for supper, cukes and tomatoes from the garden, a beer. Bud Light if you want to know. 2nd beer open beside me. Did a little reading. Finders Keepers. Have questions but don't want to use the spoiler tab. Maybe I'll look, see if it has been asked. Then again, maybe I won't. Maybe I'll read, see if the answer is forthcoming. Ummm. Called another number, lady called yesterday about a patio door. I'd called yesterday, answering machine. Generic. I call today, lady answer, I ask for Sarah. Nope! You have the wrong number! This lady sounded exuberant. Set me back. Did I dial right? I say why I am calling. You called yesterday, too. Yes. Still wrong number. Oh. Okay. Had one number wrong. Should have had the wife listen to the message. Print out a caller ID list on the phone, check, yep, one number wrong, call the right number, machine. I leave my mark.

All set up to do a steel roof tomorrow, customer knows I'm coming...we texted. Heh! He's in his 70s pushing 80, the old man worked for him in fact. Old dogs can learn new tricks. Texted my help, too. And my wife, double up on the message, it is her co-worker's son who will help, Adam. I don't think he reads Stephen King. Maybe that should be a requirement? Anyone run into that in a job interview? I'm tired. Back is sore. Those steps were a bugger...uneven landing, had to adjust. Didn't get it perfect. Tried. Three four times. Six.
That is all. Over and out.
This has been the Oobleck.
