Worked. On the train heading home now.

Tonight I will work on assembling the Holey Board, should it actually show up. I no longer trust UPS delivery estimates. Everything from them lately has either been late or lost.

I'm just a regular working dog the rest of the week.

Friday is my work from home day for the next 8 weeks! No classes either during that time. I now have some time to be a dirty, rockin' dog again! At least for a while....

What exactly is a Holey Board, Swifty?...... I have no clue, and I don't want to make wild assumptions.

Turns out the compressor is malfunctioning, hence no AC. Busy day, work tonight. Did anyone catch MSNBC? Interesting topic on Playing Hardball- I had a few minutes to glance. Harry Potter proves more entertaining for Alex.
Cooked up a variation of "Bangers n Mash" using Boars Head chicken sausages with uncured bacon:cheerful::victorious:
. . .also curious. .
Thank you for the image! I'll have to check :) in latertly - laterally:grinning:.
:peace:.

Anne arrived on time on Saturday. Lots of tears when I saw her walk down that ramp (and I did hug the stuffing
out of her :)). Staying up late each night, just so much to talk about... Yesterday she wanted to go to the
Japanese Gardens, which were gorgeous as usual, and then to Value Village. I found 6 brand new bath towels
for $1.99 each and they have daisies on them. Lovely. AND I found The Witching Hour, 1st edition, by Anne
Rice. Finally. Thrilled to finally have this book, it 's in good condition too. Not a HC but is an over sized paperback.
It is so great to see her again. Today she would like to go to the waterfront which I can manage too. Very happy
I am able to do these things and it is great to be outside again. The End of my boring monologue
Your happiness is infectious! Reading this made me smile. Enjoy every moment! And SCORE on The Witching Hour. That's one of my favorite books ever.

It pretty much started out terribles and stayed that way.

All ready to walk out the door for work. Monday morning 7:10 am. Can't find my keys.
Who does this? Me. Looked everywhere.

Nope. Last I remembered using them - doing laundry. Checked everywhere.
Now getting late. Have to call boss. oh no.

duh, lost my keys.

''Sorry, but I am running late today, I have misplaced my keys"

Called emergency maintenance. Maintenance came. No keys in laundry room or no one turned them in.
Called a cab. (I can't miss any more work) Continued looking. Crawling and looking now.

Monday morning.

Suddenly remembered that I changed my clothes for a minute for the damn laundry.

ding.

Found them folded up neatly in the pocket of the sweatpants that I threw on, in a bottom drawer of a dresser.

Cancelled cab, It still pulled up as I was running out. Late for work. Forget about looking ok for work at that point. TAK. I'm here.

Ijit.

Yo guys, check it out: I'm a pirate now!

Actually, this is my new assistant at the office. His name is Charlie. Charlie has a very pleasant demeanour and is willing to work for minimum wage. What more could one ask for in an assistant?

oof, nottie. I'm going to have a glass of wine for you. That's a terrible Monday. It's all over now.

Don't forgot about St. Anthony! Ask him next time.

I asked everyone just in case. Old habits die hard. (snerk, did not mean it that way)

Forgot which Saint was the one. There is even a lil poem, that I forgot too.. :culpability: I was in a Monday ok. Up early. Messing about, had at least an hour before I had to think bout getting ready.

Then all heck broke loose.

Even slept well and early beds. All ready to go do good.
