Sorry to hear about this, Staro. I know it hurts like hell. Maybe ask your doctor for a compounded lotion to help with that? Be sure to ask for pain relief if you need it. No reason to suffer.
I just asked the Pharmacist about this vaccine and it is $59.00 in B.C.... But no one gets it free, even those over 60

That's the same price I was quoted in Ontario. Quite a difference from province to province isn't there.

Do you have to work while this is going on? I lost quite a bit of time as a result of shingles as after it was over the pain would come back at odd times (I could never predict when it would be bad)

Think this is due to her (Marsha) not wanting to burden her fellow moderators with possible conflict while she is away. So temporarily closed threads while awaiting her return (and giving us time to cool off a little too i imagine).
Yes. People will say and do things while volunteers are on duty that they never would during Marsha's hours.

You poor thing - I tried to explain it to other people when I had it but nobody really "gets" it until they actually get it themselves.
It has gotten worse. Now my upper right side is covered in big black bruises. He got me a new pain med for nerve pain plus 60 more T4s.
