Wow! You were on the cutting edge of technology, then. I don't think my family had one until 1991. And even then, I didn't make the full switch from cassette tapes to CDs for quite a few more years after that.
And we all had great laughs about this back then thinking that there was no way that Fox was going to become a powerhouse up against those older established networks. Look at them now......I think 1987 was the year Fox went prime-time to compete with ABC, CBS and NBC with shows like Werewolf and Married... with Children, along with some others I can’t remember.

I think you're right. I wonder when The Simpsons first aired. I believe they came along in 1989, following the success of the animated segments on The Tracy Ullman Show. I didn't get my Nintendo until 1988. The Legend of Zelda was the game I chose (Super Mario Bros came with the system) and it quickly took over my soul, LOL.The Legend of Zelda came out on NES that year. Wasted sooooooo much time playing that game!
