Yeah, watched Devils Rejects again, so that brought me up to three, I think. Anyway, always thought this one was WAY better than House of 1000 Corpses, has some truly grisly moments...but, UGH, Rob Zombie's writing sucks. It's like somebody trying to write Tarantino dialogue, but failing miserably.

Started watching Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte, but didn't get far-- had other things happening which forced me to cease viewing the flick. But I'd like to try it again sometime--I adore Bette Davis, loved her in Baby Jane.

I'm gonna try to squeeze in as many Christopher Lee movies as possible--in honor of Lee's recent demise. Might slip Curse of Frankenstein in the player tonight...

My mom used to sing Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte to me. Scared me . She did it on purpose. I have not seen that in awhile.

I still have not seen any yet! You think they would be all over.

Hush Hush is a great movie. It was nominated for something like 7 academy awards. One of my all time favorite scary movies and i always watch it during our marathon.

6) Dark Was The Night-2014 (FTV) I'll add my kudos to Kurben and fushingfeef 's--this was a well done monster movie! All of the acting was good, but Kevin Durand as the sheriff stood out. The writer took the time to build believable back stories for his characters, so you actually cared what happened to them; it wasn't one jumpscare after another. In tone, it reminded me quite a bit of 30 Days of Night, and I love that movie. I can definitely see watching this one again (it would have been even better had they cut the last 30 seconds or so. They sacrificed a satisfying ending for a not so twisty twist. Not bad enough to ruin the movie, but completely unnecessary). I liked this one a lot--thanks, fushingfeef !
