Hi!
May all be well or on the mend.
Thank you all for your posts.
A very kind member PM'd me to check on the status of Rhodes. (And included love and concern. Yay!)
Rhodes is at home and very happy to be able to run and play during the day. When it gets dark I put him on a metal cord attached to the front porch and, so far, no one has cut the metal cord, or picked him up and over the fence. (I let him off the metal cord during the day. We play and run. Catch the ball, play keep the ball away from Momma and let her run after me. Ha!)
Yesterday, Monday, when I came home from work a couple of neighbors informed me a police officer in a big azz SUV police vehicle had stopped in front of the house, walked around the front of the fence (basically, making a police presence known ) and proceeded to drive down the road and the the street behind us!
Bless his heart.
Oh! One more thing. We now have a female puppy-maybe four/five months old who made her way into our yard. She looks like a German-shepherd mix. No tags and rather neglected. We bathed her and welcomed her. Rhodes loves her as do we. (No money to get her vaccinated and licensed yet but...)
We have not yet named her but as she is young and very frightened (Frick. How the heck do you spell skitched?) we call out "Baby? Baby? Come here." And she comes. Maybe that's her name! BABY!
Peace.
(I will say it again, Thank you, Mr. Police officer! )
