Huh, nothin.. Just your use of the word pig - cry pardon if I offended.

You did not like the Pope with pizza? I would take the pizza. But I am not the Pope in a Popecar. :)
I think you might be seeing quotation marks where I didn't put any. I didn't mean that I think the Pope is a pig. I was responding to what hoss observed, not incorrectly, just that a regular Joe with a pizza is no big deal. See? Oh, I should've italicized "me".

Okay, I like this new Pope, and as a recovering Catholic, I have to say that this guy should've been wearing the white yarmulke three or so decades ago, and it's fine that he doesn't put the miter ons. He is very cool.

But a guy runs up and hands him a pizza. What's he gonna do, throw it on the ground? Or throw it back in the guy's face? He acted normally and graciously, like the gracious guy he apparently is. Let it go, folks. There's bigger issues than pizza in play.

Yes, but is was still cool.

Just wanted to put it out there.
I grew up Catholic, and went to the schools - and the Pope was always so distant, holy . Non human.

This guy though, not that it renews my faith - laws no! I have none.

But I think it is a change in the right direction for those of faith in this troubled world.
