It's been rumored that this is partially based on the true case of Elisa Lam who went into an elevator in a hotel in California, acted very strange, and her body was later discovered in a water tank. Whether or not Hotel will integrate this story I don't know but here is the video....

That story creeps me out so much.

Does Lady Gaga have a big role? I thought I'd read she was just doing a cameo as a participant in an orgy. Maybe I read it wrong. Is Jessica Lange in this season? I haven't watched season 3 yet but boy was she fantastic in the first 2. Terrific actress.

The way they're promoting her, she sounds like she'll be a pivotal character in the story... and I believe Jessica Lange is sitting this one out...

I was laughing because I couldn't imagine this being on at 8. It's a bit over the top for that.

And yes, with the exception of the first night, it will be DVR for me, too!

Yeah, I haven't seen him in a while, so it was probably due.

That opening credit sequence looks so good (though I do wish they'd stick with the original rendition of the theme music). Hopefully it'll be a return to form after the likes of Coven and Freak Show. Not to say that those two seasons weren't good, they were. But they really weren't on the level of Murder House or Asylum. Particularly Asylum. If they can cook up something as good as Asylum, I'll be pleased. And hopefully they won't focus on Gaga at the expense of the series regulars.

It looks like they already have. All I see is gaga. Not a huge fan.
