I wasn't watching, but Bucky and Pat kept interrupting themselves while announcing the Jays game.

What a game.

19 innings! Good thing it was an afternoon game.

Worst umpire ever. Carapazza is the worst...always the worst. His strike zone is very inconsistent. We could debate whether it's one sided...maybe is maybe isn't. But nobody could possibly believe there is any consistency.

But even worse....he eggs on players for the thrill of booting them out. A player will say something to him then turn and head back to the dugout. A good umpire lets it end there. But not Carapazza. He will shout something to them, they respond, he kicks them out.

But watching Ryan Goins pitch the 18th was awesome. The look on his face as he headed back into the dugout was priceless. Unfortunately when Darwin Barney pitched the 19th the Indians scored one...and that's all they needed.

Still, was a great game though.

I'm posting this link because when the Canadian anthem was being performed during the ASG the American station cut to commercial. THAT IS SO FREAKING RUDE! But it means nobody here saw what happened.

This group currently goes by the name The Tenors. Their original name is The Canadian Tenors.

During the butchering of our anthem, one of them held up a sign that said "All Lives Matter". And they put those words into our anthem.

Did you enjoy the game? I did. . I was glad to see my Jays get to play.

Waaaay back when Cito Gaston was the coach for the ASG I was not happy with him. I get that they want to win, and now it does matter because it gives home field advantage for the World Series. But (IMO) he brought to many Jays, and he didn't play all the players on the American team. I think it was nasty that he never put the Orioles pitcher in.

They posted a very public apology and said the one guy did it on his own. I rewatched the video and I believe them. The guy standing next to him looks shocked. He is booted out, at least temporarily.

The Yanks scored among the highest on deadline day according to the pundits. Got a lot of young talent back in the fold and you know they aren't scared to spend the cash for more seasoned talent in the off season. They'll be fine, unfortunately....

They should just cut ARod and be done with it. I know about the money, but that would be the ultimate example of a fresh start.
