Watched the second half of the game. It was stuck at 6's for a long time. That Zimmerman HR in the extra innings to win the game was exciting and he got a Gatorade bath upon crossing home plate.

We got to see highlights on ESPN (they have ESPN here, just not MASN which is the local station that normally carries the Nationals... similar I would guess to the YES network you were telling me about....) Zimmerman has had 10 walk off homeruns I believe and only 2 other ahead of him (Stan Musial and someone else....) Exciting game.

The YES commentators weren't too happy last night.

I read this on the ESPN website. Is it just me or does the math seem funny?

Noah Syndergaard drops the hammer
The ESPN HR Tracker measured his homer this afternoon at 430 feet, the longest hit by a pitcher in the last 7 seasons since Carlos Zambrano's 431 feet in 2012. Syndergaard bested Zambrano's and Matt Cain's 428-foot shots in 2011.

The longest HR by a pitcher in the last 7 seasons (since 2012)?

Sox 22 year old minor leaguer called up to start today. All he did was:

Throw a 3 hitter against the Rangers!

Probably the best start of any of the Sox cruddy starters this year.

I haven't heard anything for the past two days - anyone know how she's doing?

They have upgraded her condition to serious. She was in critical until late Saturday or early Sunday. Some of the images from the park are truly frightening. Her 8 year old was sitting right next to her when it happened. Poor kid.
