I'd like to see some kind of full-length, Faustian, "Deal-with-the-devil" type story. I really liked "The Man in the Black Suit", in "Everything's Eventual", but I think a novel could be wonderful.

I know there are hints at these types of deals in other works: good 'ol RF makes all kinds of promises, and Leland Gaunt makes several deals with people, but I'd like a story where the protagonist is heavily tempted by such a figure.

Just my 5 cents (Canada no longer has pennies).

Wilmington DE, strange little place.
It would be awesome for me to learn that some chartacters are livng in the same universe.
it would be nice to see (learn) that Carrie comes from the same universe as Danny and they both
live in the same universe as the new crew from Finders Keepers. Maybe Carrie, Abra, and Danny
are all related some how.

maybe the kids from IT live in the same universe as Mr. Stephens and the brownstone.(The Breathing method)
maybe Ace Merrell is related to :: the girl who loved Tom Gordon.

anything like this would be cool.
also some kin d of closure on Bango Skank.

I wouldn't mind if he visited with The Boxcar Children...demon-spawn of the forest...buncha little ruffians living in a boxcar out in the woods. Made me want to built forts out in the woods...and I did do that. Hey Tony! Let's go build a fort up in the bush. Not exactly a box-car, but we had a candle and played cards, things of that nature.

I've been thinking a bit about this, and I think I would also like to see "It" re-written as a detective novel. Maybe it's because of Mr. King's latest work, but I think it might be interesting to see the novel from the point of view of the detective in charge of the case looking for the missing children. It's been a year or two since I've read "It", but I seem to remember hints of a cover-up, where the adult population of Derry (particularly those in power), were hushing up the murders. It may just be an effect of Its magic that the adults quietly tolerated the murders, but I can't remember.

Heck, we could even have the detective investigate the sudden appearance of one "George Amberson" in Derry.

As a hardcore IT fan, I'd love to see a sequel to that. I only say this because I feel like in SK's mind, Pennywise did survive, as hinted in DREAMCATCHER and THE TOMMYKNOCKERS.

Also, I love the NEEDFUL THINGS/IT/UNDER THE DOME-type stories where the entire town is involved. I'd love to see a return to Castle Rock.

Another thing I'd enjoy is a closing tale for the TALISMAN series which also would loop into DARK TOWER and EYES OF THE DRAGON. I felt like to hint at that without following through is a missed opportunity. WIND THROUGH THE KEYHOLE proves there are opportunities for tales untold, if SK and Peter Straub will just sit and write them.

Reading "Doctor Sleep" right now. They mention that Salem's Lot is a True Knot "company town." Was that after the town was overrun with vampires or before? Psychic cannibal vampire gypsy serial killer cultists in Winnebagos versus regular ol' fangs 'n' coffins vampire-vampires would be a hoot I tells ya. Vampire steam is probably some seriously good stuff. And he should listen to only Black Sabbath's first two albums while he writes it.

Back when I was 8, I actually wrote a letter to SK begging for a sequel to The Eyes of the Dragon because I loved it so much. That was around 1991-ish, and my mom actually typed it for me-on a typewriter, lol. I did get a really nice response back from a woman who worked for him. I need to find it next time I go to my parents' house! I would still love a sequel now, but seeing Flagg, Thomas, and Dennis in DTII was almost as good. Almost.

I am going to tag Moderator on this, too. How awesome would that be?!? I believe Eyes of the Dragon was her first job for SK, if I am remembering right. So chances are, the letter was from her!

Ka-incidence!!

Might have been me as I was working here then and did a lot of the fan mail responses but at the time there were also a couple of other ladies in the office who did fan mail as well so can't say with 100% certainty.
