That's adorable! Is there enough left-over fabric to make a "baby" biker bandana?
No extra and have a feeling a bandana might be pushing it a little with my daughter's fashion aesthetics.

That is great!!! You are talented (but you know that!).I finished up my summer glass project.I made it for Dave so he can have something to hang in our living room too (but will still blend well with my "stuff"-ha!) It was a fun one!I pulled the image from "The Shinning."

"Don't mind if I do!"

I love it! I love its incongruity, Tiffany glass and The Simpsons are not a likely combo lol.
nice job!I am so excited!
Let me start by thanking Moderator . You mentioned sewing courses on Craftsy. I never actually thought of looking for on-line courses. So, I went there and found a short series of beginner courses. The first lesson is actually sewing a straight line on paper....I mean it is beginner. Thank you Ms. Mod.
The first project was a tissue cover. You know the little packs that fit in your purse.

Funny how it's sew simple when you know what you're doing. Lol. Unfortunately, my purse size packages open at the top, so this is useless...but I knew that before making it. It was a sewing learning experience.
I skipped making a pillow because...well, I do not have a pillow form AND it didn't appear to teach me anything new. So I went straight to a zippered pouch. I had been searching for something about the size of a make-up bag to carry my meds in. I decided to make one.

I need to work on the zipper. It's definitely not perfect. But it works and the bag fits what I need. And it was my first attempt at a zipper.
I have already used more stitches and feet since getting my new machine than I did all the years with my two previous machines.

I am considering designing what I want next, since I cannot find a pattern. I'm going to try to stick with small and relatively simple things. This is not natural for me. I tend to start with big advanced projects....but sewing seems to demand I learn it a bit at a time.
Excellent- the more you do, the easier it will become.I am so excited!

Way to go! It absolutely does have the component of each thing learned builds on prior skills. I'm still learning and I've been sewing since I was maybe 11 or 12 years old. It was only in the last month that I figured out how to do one of those zippered pillows that has the fabric covering up the zipper.I am so excited!

Very nice! I've often thought about making simple twill cosmetic bags that can be thrown in the washing machine. I'm curious - does the bag have a bottom seam or were you able to put in the zipper by just folding the fabric?
Side note: We use the same brand of inhaler
I'm not sure how to answer that. Here's a picture that shows what it looked like after I sewed it, pulled it right side out, then stitched up the last few inches. The black & white is the inside material.

If that doesn't help, here's a link to the actual pattern.

I don't regularly use an inhaler. I used to have one for my allergies, but since moving out of the apartment building I rarely need it. (building had a lot of cats, and though I'm not actually allergic to them, my system went completely wonky and I was have reactions to everything.)
I love the lining fabric Thanks for the link
