Sad. This is a really weird year for my childhood heroes...
She was just on the Graham Norton show a week or so ago -- we watched the episode a couple of nights ago. She was still as feisty as ever.

TCM will have to redo their salute to those film people we have lost in the past year..i agree with everyone,2016 has been awful for losing those that we held close in our childhood our younger years..for Carrie Fisher,I saw her first in the original Star Wars movie,way back in 1977,at our local theater..my dear Aunt Ethelyn,who was my film buddy,took me,I was thirteen when it showed first..we enjoyed it immensely..and I was a young man who looked at Carrie as a beautiful older girl,a real princess..may she RIP..
