yep.. that was back when I watched some tv... nowadays I have a million channels and nothing to watch!

I'm the opposite. I had all but the bare minimum channels turned off. I have Laff TV and I'm enjoying watch all the retro classic tv shows.
I think it is basically a progress bar, so, if your (or our) connection is a little slow, it will show up to let you know that your message has been posted and is in the process of appearing. (It helps to stop people from 'double posting'.)

My favorite cartoon show of all time. I always liked the Gunslinger Ranger named "Goose"...
Mister Dressup and Casey and Finnegan. I cut my pre-school teeth on this, The Friendly Giant, and Chez-Helene (I didn't learn any French but I was madly in love with her).
