Oh yeah, Month Python, Blackadder, Faulty Towers--stuff like that kills me.

Speaking of Cheers spinoffs, anybody remember the 1st? Wasn't Frasier, but The Tortellis. Dan Hadeya played Carla's ex-husband Nick Tortelli, had a air-headed blonde bimbo wife? Ran a TV repair service? No? Probably cause it only ran thirteen episodes. Dr. Frasier Crane ran for eleven seasons.

Anybody remember a young Leah Remini as Carla's teenage daughter in many a Cheers episode? I do.

I've been liking that new show on Comedy Central Another Period. Crazy show.
The airheaded bimbette was Casey Kasem' s wife, can't think of her name off the top, she appeared on Cheer's as that character, too, she use to pop up all over.

Am I the only one here who likes The Big Bang Theory?

Nope, we love it. More enamored with the earlier seasons than now, but we're still watching it because we're invested in the characters, and it still makes us laugh.

Loved Monty Python and the Flying Circus.

Frazier could be brilliant. The "radio show" episode and the "interpreters" one were inspired. Oh, my goodness.

M*A*S*H kept its quality going season after season. It aged well.

The Addams Family.

WKRP. It was uneven, but I have never laughed harder in my life than I did with the Thanksgiving episode. Epic.

Laugh-In. Oh, my, they got away with a bunch back then when they weren't supposed to.

There were shows like Friends that we liked fine when we saw it, but just never really bothered to tune it in all that much. Actually, Frazier was much the same way, especially when the Niles/Daphne thing developed its own life.

Radomly speaking...

I Love Lucy
Green Acres
The Golden Girls
Will & Grace

These shows actually make me laugh out loud, no matter how many times I see the same episodes over and over again. I have to say that much of my sarcastic sense of humor comes from the early seasons of I Love Lucy. I have been watching that show ever since I can remember. The writing team for that show at that time in history was the best.

As for Green Acres, which many find a silly show, it is absurdist comedy TV at its best. And kudos to Eva Gabor for taking what could have been a throwaway roll and making it one of comedic genious. Seriously.

I thought it was rather brilliantly done, too, at times. A memorable cast of characters. My dad would watch it just to see what concoction came out of Eva Gabor's coffeepot. I'd watch it just to wait for Hank Kimball to come on the scene with his blend of literalness and tangents.

Yeah I agree, they've sort of grown up haven't they ;) But still fun to watch.

Of the other's in this thread mentioned: I remember I liked M*A*S*H, but I haven't watched it in ages so I've pretty much forgotten what it's about other than the setting.
Friends, Malcolm in the Middle and actually pretty much any other American TV-show don't do much for me. Married... with Children I used to like but when I watch it now... meh. Maybe it gets a bit old.

From the UK I like Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Mr. Bean, and one that also hasn't been mentioned yet: Bottom.
