And I just want to say, we all were a bit shaky on going back to the roots, some not understanding how it would work, but once everyone realized how this was progressing through the individual writers, they jumped on board with both feet and just road this thing to the end.

The fact that no one even knew what we were going to be writing about was mysterious and a challenge in its own right. Scott told me what he wanted to do and I said, "Don't tell me! Just write it!"
First, Leif - Well done, sir! This was an amazing wrap up to a great Halloween story!

Second, i am so pleased at how this year's tale turned out and you all should be very proud of yourselves. I think I've read all of the stories that have been created over the years here and this one is slick! If we didn't know it was done blindly with no editing, it would be very hard to prove. Kudos to DJ for herding all the cats to create a true gem for us to enjoy and to all the writers/consultants involved! I'm already looking forward to next year!!

Thank you so much! That is so nice to say.

And again, I do want to give pats on the back to past writing groups and persons in charge. It's a lot of work. And they have all done fantastic to herd the cats!

I would just like to say a Huge Thank you to DJ for organizing the SKMB Halloween story. I would also like to personally thank all the writers. It is not easy to put yourself out there. Thank you!
thank you. It was tough being in that position at moments, but, I love how each writer had their moment to shine.

I am so sorry, the week got away from me and I've been busy. Lief, you've not only done a spectacular job trying the entire story together and pushing it through, scene by scene, to a fitting conclusion. I can't believe how you tied every last shred together. Thank you for stepping up to the challenge. You deserve a medal for stepping in to do this at the last minute. Awesome job, you held true to the integrity of the story and the characters, both of which we've grown attached to. :biglove:

Leif, I am so sorry! My sporadic attention to detail is partly to blame. You know, I was waiting for the end to go live and then I lost track of time. You know what I think, I should hope. The last chapter was awesome! I know how much fun it was to write, and that was part of the enjoyability. You effectively grabbed all of the baseboard threads (SKILLS ) , red or otherwise, and unraveled, twisted, tugged, and eventually pulled them all through. (self referential). Anyway, I feel like kind of a jerk for not reiterating this earlier: Leif, you are an inspiration; thank you for honoring our dedication by stepping up and pulling through, magnificently.
