As a kid, my father was too cheap to get me a watch. He made me help him build a sundial on the property we owned and where we worked a large garden. It was my responsibility to make sure to keep checking the time on the thing for when he wanted be back from exploring, or wanted something done by a certain time.
And some of you wonder why I'm a bit off at times.

Sunny mentioned in another thread she had a mole in her house. No word from her whether or not she meant the little furry kind or the kind that rats people out.

The furry kind......I've left some poison and two traps for him.
If I could turn back time , there was this girl in high school I'd try to get know better. She wouldn't give me the time of day the first time around.
Sundrop - if you have dogs or cats, be careful with the poison. Would not want it to walk off and be eaten. Have you tried oil of peppermint on cotton balls where it may have entered?
