Update: because I enjoy discussing these as I go along. Hope nobody minds..:eagerness:

About 200 pages into W&G. I have met not nadines buddy Rhea. Briefly when she was checking to see if Susan was "clean". She's gross. Susan and Will AKA Roland just finished up their road meeting and are now dreaming of each other and that's where I am now. Don't know the whole story yet but I hope this Mayor Thorin creaky bones gets whats coming to him.

Finished up W&G! Did a marathon session yesterday because I HAD to see what happens! I'm enjoying this journey so much. I can't wait to see what happens, yet don't want it to end. Which is probably how everyone felt.

Susans death didn't really surprise me. It seems like it was foreshadowed in the prior books. Enjoyed getting a glimpse of Rolands past and ooooo what that Rhea ***** did to his mom! :grr: God I hope she gets it good and I hope he is the one to do it! The Wizard of Oz thing was unexpected. And odd. One of my biggest worries is Oy. I didn't cry over Susan but I will over Oy if what Roland saw in the glass is true for the future

Wolves of the Calla awaits.....

For me, wolves of the calla was probably my 2nd favourite of the series (my 1st being drawing of the 3). Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Finished up Wolves! I liked it. My favorite book(so far) is Drawing of the Three. It just gave me chills when I read it.
About 50 pages or so into Song of Susannah

I am having a hard time getting into this Mia/the Chap plot. I like Susannah as a character so I hope this turns out out okay but I'm not digging it yet. I'm more interested in finding out what happens to Calvin Tower and if they get the vacant lot.

I stopped reading during Wizard and Glass purely because I didn't like Susan. Took me a while to go back to it, and I started the book from the beginning again. I'm glad I did complete it because one of my favourite characters is Rhea of the Coos...but I still don't like Susan! :biggrin2:
Anyhoo, as a first time reader I'd read the series in the order King originally wrote/published them.
Susan was my least favourite character in the series.

As some of you know I have not yet read these books. My plan is to start after finishing Revival. You guys have me motivated!
I was going to read them in order of release date but a friend of mine said that he thinks Wind Through the Keyhole is actually supposed to be in between books 4-5 or 3-4(he wasn't sure of the order).
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I stick to release date or shuffle some around?

With regards to twttk i agree with what was said earlier in this post read it after the rest. it brings back the memories of the journey and will make it that much sweeter to visit our friends once more.

In between digging myself out of various snowbanks I finished Song of Susannah. I liked it okay. It was a pretty fast read. I couldn't get into this particular plot though:

when SK himself is in the story. This totally took me away from the fantasy of it. And frankly kinda confused me.(which, admittedly, isn't hard to do). I am more into seeing where this baby thing goes now that he has been born and of what he came from.
Haven't started DT 7 yet. I almost want to draw it out but I also want, nay NEED to see what happens!!

[I liked it (at first) but it went on a little too long for me, took me out of it as well.
There are a lot of post here with people agreeing/disagreeing with your spoiler
Thanks for sharing! I'm going to have to go back through this thread when I'm finished and read everyones comments. Had to avoid those spoilers so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone had to say.
